About Us
USI is the most frequently selected insurance broker/risk management advisor in Connecticut, with over 75 public sector towns, school districts, utilities, and governmental organization clients. We provide property/casualty, employee benefits, and pension consulting services, with teams experienced in risk management, benefits, analytics, claims management, wellness, alternative risk, and loss prevention.
We are selected to help contain and reduce expenses, address emerging risks such as cyber and pandemics, and improve coverage/retention structures to unlock further savings. In addition, we have a passion with helping educate and train our clients, staying on top of regulatory developments and changes, and being creative problem-solvers. We annually support COST and related public sector organizations such as CASBO, CABE, PRIMA and GFOA, and give thousands of volunteer hours to local organizations and causes.
